Sam Barrett, Head of Media, Oxfam

Sam_Oxfam100x120Sam has been Head of Media for Oxfam for over three years and is responsible for Oxfam's media work in 80 countries around the world.  Based at the headquarters in Oxford, the Oxfam media team delivers across Oxfam’s international media campaigns on climate change, humanitarian disasters, aid and debt and delivers PR for Oxfam's fundraising initiatives and shop network.


Sam began working for Oxfam in 2000, leading on all of Oxfam’s campaigns and global events such the WTO meetings, the war in Afghanistan and the tsunami. He has traveled and worked widely across the world and prior to working for Oxfam, Sam worked for in corporate public relations.
